Get-together at the “Regenbogenland” hospice

Zoom

The “Regenbogenland” hospice is a place for children, adolescents and young adults who have limited life expectancy due to a terminal illness. The dedicated team and the “furry” therapy animals help patients and their families (including siblings) make the remaining time together as fulfilling and positive as possible.

On 13 September, the hospice hosted a get-together for donors and scholarship holders from the German National Scholarship programme. Mr Norbert Hüsson (Chair of the Board), Dr Gisela Janßen and Ms Mascha Kloster took the opportunity to explain the concept behind the hospice. The scholarship holders left the hospice amazed by the wide-ranging work involved and in a reflective mood.
